Spring Break Part: 2

Hello, my friends! It’s been a while!

We’re headed into an unscheduled second week of spring break!

Just a week before the girls’ spring break started working at their school! I had fully intended on making this a very, very part-time subbing gig, but it turns out subs are in high demand. On the last day of school, I actually ended up in Juli’s classroom.

Anyway, because of the new job, I wasn’t able to get online and type as much as I had hoped! I actually have a few projects that I’ve photographed, just waiting for the words to go live.

Last week, while the girls were on spring break, I took a content creation course that I had hoped to put into action TODAY! Unfortunately, with little people all over, that’s proving to be harder than expected. Whoops! Plus, the weather has been not so great, which isn’t fantastic for my natural lighting set-up.

Instead, I’m currently rounding up some of our favorites for indoor play. I have some new Amazon items on the way, plus some old go-to items.

We once again moved into an AMAZING neighborhood, so it kills the girls to not be able to go outside and play with all of their friends. Probably for the best, since it’s also muddy out there.

While I’m working on the second post, take a look at some of my existing favorites for fun indoor play:

I also appreciate some of the resources that our school, other local schools, and just about everyone on Facebook have shared! A local school will be reading a book and sharing an activity each day. I encourage those of you with kiddos in school, to visit you schools’ Facebook pages.

Also! Teachers Pay Teachers is a fantastic resource, for keeping those little minds engaged. There are plenty of free options on there, like this coloring sheet that I printed out for today!

The sliver lining to this whole situation, is that John was set to leave for a month today. For a while, I was thinking I’d be home with the kids and no husband. Thankfully, his training was cancelled! Although he’s been working nonstop, even over the weekend, it’s nice to have him home at night. We’ve been getting our Frozen 2 movie marathons on via Disney+!
