Bullet Points

Ahh! I’ve literally started four different blog posts that I haven’t been able to finish. Lots on my mind, but not the words to get it all out. Rather than try to piece together a blog post on one topic, I’m just going bullet point this one.

  • Veronica puked all over John a few nights ago. It was tragically hilarious! Thankfully, she’s feeling better now, but Adri has now developed a fever. I’m just hoping she feels better by this afternoon for her class Christmas party
  • Christmas wrapping needs to be done today. We keep getting boxes delivered and the girls are super curious. I have no idea where to hide them after delivery though. I may be the only one, but I’m pretty sure that all of our gifts will be coming from Santa. Well, minus the stuff that is coming form the grandparents and other family and friends.
  • I had a dream two nights ago about Caesar running away and me desperately trying to find him. I needed that reminder that I actually love my dog, because he keeps ripping the blinds off of our windows and I want to kill him. I have no idea what his issue is lately, but he’ll be going into his kennel until I can trust him to freely roam the house while we’re gone.
  • I seriously LOVE that I switched to WordPress! It’s been less than a month, but I feel like I more or less have a handle on everything. I was even able to widen the content area on my design all by myself! Woo! Getting started with HostGator was super simple and I was able to install WordPress and migrate everything from Blogger on my own.
  • Speaking of blogger and blogging, I’ve started kinda trying to get a plan together for this page for 2015. I would like for my blog to eventually become a source of income, so that when it comes time for me to go back to work in five years, I don’t actually have to go back to work. I took this Bloggers Get Social course in November, and I’m really looking forward to implementing what I’ve learned. This blog has grown tremendously in the past two and a half years, and with a little focus, I think I can continue to grow.
  • Ugh. I just realized that along with gift wrapping, I need to go grocery shopping today. And I’ve gotta buy everything for next week too. If Thanksgiving week was any indication of what Christmas week will be like at the commissary, there’s no chance I’ll be going anywhere near it.

Whats going on with you lately?
