Contrary to popular belief, many pumpkin spice products don’t contain pumpkin, but instead the mix of the spices that would typically go into a pumpkin pie. In this case, I’m using a pre-mixed pumpkin spice seasoning, but a homemade pumpkin spice seasoning would contain a combo of:

  • ground cinnamon
  • ground ginger
  • nutmeg
  • ground allspice
  • ground cloves

To create this homemade sugar scrub, you’ll combine:

  • brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • pumpkin pie spice
  • coconut oil
  • vanilla (optional)

It takes just a few moments to combine the ingredients, then the sugar scrub is ready to use! Since there is no pumpkin in this mix, it’s safe to keep on a shelf. Due to the potential for the for coconut oil to solidify, keeping this mix in a warm shower would also be ideal.
