Amazon Prime Day kicks off this afternoon! Are you ready?!
To be honest, I’m not holding my breath for any spectacular deals. I haven’t been blown away in the last few years. There are a few electronics that I’ll be keeping an eye on, but otherwise it should be business as usual. Plus, we really have NO space in the car for any extra purchases!
Since it is Prime Day though, I wanted to share some of my favorite Amazon finds from this summer! I’ve made 65 orders in the last few months, so this is just a fraction of what I’ve purchased.
I truly love me some Amazon Prime! In Hawaii, I took advantage of having a Prime account to get free shipping to the island, even though shipping took much longer than 2 days. Since moving back to the mainland, I’ve become a habitual Amazon shopper!
I’d much rather read reviews and order online versus having to head to the store with the kiddos and deal with other humans.
Anyway.. Here are the goods!
Favorite Summer Finds From Amazon
Just before we set out on our PCS journey, I ordered a GoPro to document the move and our summer! It’s perfect for pooling and boating in Miami, plus it can handle the abuse of getting tossed in my bag! I haven’t seen it drop in price again, but who knows, maybe it’ll have a Prime Day deal!
My all-time favorite GoPro accessory would be this grip handle. It’s sturdy, but lightweight which makes for super easy handling of the GoPro. The handle is available in a few colors, and floats. I got the orange tip, so make it easiest to find in water.
I think we can all agree that this flamingo float has been the highlight of my summer! It was less than $20 and has withstood the harsh Miami sun, pool chemicals, and my rowdy herd attacking it relentlessly.
After Erica posted about having these shoes for her girls, I knew I wanted to get some for my girls! We had a tricky time with sizing, so I think I’d recommend ordering down a size.
Surprise, surprise! They make the shoes for grownups too! I’d have never known, if it wasn’t for Kait sharing hers! I got a pair for myself and they’re so comfy and easy to slip on and off. I’m typically an 8.5 and the 8s (no half sizes) fit me well.
I ordered two swimsuits HERE and HERE thinking that I’d try them on and send one back. I ended up keeping both, because they’re so cute and fit so well! I’ve gotta give major kudos to the ladies who leave reviews with their weight/measurements (bonus points for pictures), which make it so much easier to figure out sizing.
This coverup (another Kait recommendation!) is lightweight and perfect for over the swimsuits. I was worried that it might not hold up well, due to the price, but it’s been going strong all season!
Diving deeper into the fashion realm, I ordered two dresses on a whim. Boy, does Amazon have some fabulous clothing on the cheap! The two dresses were surprisingly great quality for a reasonable price. I wore this one for a night out and this one for an afternoon exploring. Best of all, the second dress HAS POCKETS! I’ll be ordering some different colors once we get to Rhode Island.
Finally, I have to share this alternative to a bristled grill brush. I ordered it for my dad, and he reminds how much he loves it every. single. time he cleans the grill! Apparently, it gets the grates really clean without the worry of bristles getting left behind and stuck in your food!
