Spooky Halloween Bento Lunch

I love creating bento lunches for the girls! They’re easy to toss together and can include a variety of healthy items that the kids can graze on. With Juli home for lunch most days, this is my favorite way to prepare a great meal for her that she’ll actually eat!

Because of Pinterest, bento lunches are notorious for being overly complicated. Although I do love my egg molds and sandwich cutters, none of that is necessary! In fact, with a good box, you can ideally pack lunch as usual, minus the plastic baggies! That’s a win-win, if you ask me!

Most recently, I put together a Halloween theme box for Juli’s lunch. I kept it simple with a spaghetti (with spooky olive eyes), skewered black olives, mandarin slices, and a Mini Babybel® Cheese.

I remember being somewhere around 8 years old, sitting in the lunchroom at school and being totally obsessed with Mini Babybel® Cheeses! I mean, what other cheese is as fun to open? I can’t think of any!

Now as a mom, I love feeding them to my own children, as they’re made with 100% real cheese and are a good source of calcium and protein. Mini Babybel® Cheese is a great addition to a lunchbox and even on it’s own at snack time!
