UncommonGoods for Our New Home

This post was made possible by UncommonGoods! All thoughts and opinions are my own! (:

I’ve gotta say, one of my favorite aspects of military life is being able to start fresh at each new duty station. I see it almost as some people see the start of a new year. The chance to be more outgoing, be more involved, and keep a more organized home. Maybe I’ll even commit to working out more often!

On top of all that, I love the challenge of putting together an new cohesive household. As most military spouses can attest, moving means your furniture may not fit in your new space. Alternatively, you may not have enough furniture and decor.

As we’ve begun to inventory and organize our space in preparation for our move, I’ve come to realize that the decor in our house is lacking. I’ve made it my goal to make the next place more visually appealing. More unique little items hanging around and fewer plain white walls.

Today, I’m teaming up with UncommonGoods, to bring you some of my favorite ideas for our future home. What I love about UncommonGoods, is that they focus on sustainability by being environmentally friendly and socially responsible.

Uncommongoods has a wide variety of home decor items and gifts for any occasion! You’ll be able to find the perfect gift for your bridesmaids or a thoughtful gift to celebrate an anniversary. I’ve got a birthday coming up soon and have already found many fun items that have been added to my list.

Below, I’ve compiled some of my favorite items that I’ve discovered while perusing UncommonGoods lately. John has been instructed that the mojito mixology set is a MUST for my birthday this year! It makes mojito “caviar.” How cool is that?! I love how adorable the micro-green box will be on a windowsill. And it’s perfect for when I’m playing Iron Chef.

See that cross-country keepsake board? I think it’ll be the perfect way to document and display out PCS adventures!

Which are your favorite items?
