Celebrating Football Season

‘Tis the season, y’all! Football season that is! I’m willing to say that there are several of us that wait for this all year long. The tailgating, the food, and the celebrations!

Lucky for me, my Florida Gators have been having a pretty fantastic year (minus this weekend), so the celebrations have been plentiful! I didn’t actually go to the University of Florida, as I opted to stay in Miami for college, but I did spend plenty of time up in Gainesville, rooting for and celebrating my team! Even more so while my brother was a student there!

Sadly, John hasn’t been able to celebrate the same this season, as his Fighting Irish have had a less than stellar season so far. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t glued to the TV anyway and decked out in our college gear throughout the Fall though.output_j6qv3d

Thanks to our current duty station, we have zero issues catching every game during the weekend. Being that we live in the Hawaiian timezone, we’re a full 6 hours (or 5 outside of Daylight Savings Time) behind the East timezone. Football is on as soon as we wake up, and usually over by the mid-afternoon. You have no idea how convenient it is to watch the big game, then still have time to run errands in the afternoon!

From now until February, die-hard football fans will be glued to their TVs cheering on their teams. To add to the excitement of the season, and celebrating your team’s big score, Aaron’s is giving away four 75″ Phillips TVs each week this month with their “Big Score for a Big TV” Sweepstakes! Can you think of a better way to watch your team’s next big win?!

Entering is easy! Simply visit the sweepstakes page and enter for your chance to win!

Good luck! Later Gators!
