Last week, I shared part one of our upcoming summer vacation on Instagram. Well, part two is a cruise, and I can’t wait! Due to constant summer moves and the worldwide panorama, we’ve pushed back this vacation about fiftyleven times. For John’s birthday this year, we’re finally getting back on the ocean!

While John and I have been on 5 cruises so far, this will be our first family cruise. I’m excited to be bringing the girls along, but not only that…The grandparents are coming too! We got so lucky and managed to book 3 spectacular spa rooms all right next to each other!

Seriously, I can’t wait! Who knew I’d ever want to vacation with my mom?! Hey ma’!

If you think that I’m excited, you should see the kids! Juli has constantly asked how many more days until our cruise, and to watch YouTube videos of the ship we’re going on. Not gonna lie, I’ve been hooked to the videos too!

For that reason, I decided to create a cruise countdown printable. The printable has a bunch of pages that you can print then cut out to create a paper chain that counts down to your cruise.

With littles like mine, the visual reminder helps them grasp how far away the vacation truly is, without them having to ask every. single. day. The printable that I designed even specifies how many days are left, so there is no question.

Each morning, the littles take turns breaking off a chain to countdown to our cruise. As I’m sure the parents of tweens know, Veronica is too cool to participate in this with us.

We still have way too long until it’s cruise time, but we’ll be not-so-patiently-waiting.

Are you cruising soon?! How many more days?!
