Redbox Teacher Gift Idea

We’re getting ready to move soon, and there are a billion things I should be doing. Instead, I spent yesterday putting together gifts for the girls’ teachers. For the main teachers, I have Visa gift cards, but I didn’t want their other teachers (art, music, gym) to feel forgotten, so I went ahead and ordered Redbox codes.

As I mentioned last week, I wasn’t sure how these codes would work, so I was basically winging it. When you order the promo codes from the Redbox site, you’re supposed to select a recipient. I sent the gift to myself, and can just copy and paste the codes into each of the little Redbox gift tags that I made up while procrastinating.

The total cost of this project was about $33, but I’ll be able to make gifts for 10 teachers. At $3.30 a pop, I don’t think that’s too bad!

Each DVD promo code came out to $1.75. A 12-pack of popcorn was less than $5. I probably could have even saved money by picking up the candy from a wholesale store. In a pinch, I grabbed them for 98¢ each at Walmart instead.

And since I made the printable gift tag sheets up, might as well share them, right?! Along with end of the school year gifts, you could gift Redbox codes during Teacher Appreciation Week or even for Christmas!
