Countdown to Christmas + Grinch Printable
Sup, Grinches?! Ready for Christmas?!
I’m pretty excited for Christmas this year. I’m kinda sorta hoping for my first white Christmas. We had frost this morning and it was SO neat to see the little ice crystals on the car! Not so neat was searching for an ice scraper and waiting for the windows to defrost so that I could see.
This year, we got a head start on adding Christmas cheer to the house. Usually we wait until after Thanksgiving to get our Christmas decor up, but the Army had other plans. John will be heading overseas briefly, so we decided to bring the Christmas bins up from the basement so we could start decorating as a family.

The girls were super pumped to start decorating, so I more or less let them take the reins. All three helped unload parts of the bins and get ornaments on the tree. Baby Jesus has been placed in the manger no fewer than five times since yesterday, and I guarantee someone will be rearranging angels and sheep in the morning.
In true kid fashion, they’ve made sure to ask daily how many more days until Christmas. It’s 35, in case you’re wondering.
Just for fun I put together a Grinch printable to help with the countdown! Some spray paint on an old frame, plus the printed sheet and a dry-erase marker for this simple little project! It won’t stop them from asking, but at least they’ll have fun changing the number each day! Cheap thrills, people! Cheap thrills!
