Fall Decor 2017
I know, I know! We still have another week until fall officially begins, but I couldn’t help it! I HAD to get some fall decor up around the house! Kentucky has had some cooler weather lately, and it just felt necessary. Plus, summer basically ends at Labor Day anyway, right?
I’ve never been a huge decorator, but after stocking up on plenty of clearance items at the end of the season last year, and picking up a few new items this year, I feel like I can finally pull together a cohesive look! And I kinda absolutely love it!
Because Halloween is coming up, and that entails decor of it’s own, this stuff will likely come down October 1st, but reemerge on November 1st! And then Christmas rolls out on November 24th! I can’t wait! Even with as cute as all of this fall decor is, Christmas is my favorite!
Apparently, the live sunflower fields are all gone so I’ve taken full advantage of the super cheap ones at Walmart. I put them in Dollar Tree vases for a super cheap and simple decoration.
As Irma was headed for Florida last week, I took to crafting to keep myself from going crazy! My first creation was the pumpkin spice mug, because ’tis the season!
I also put together this “thankful” banner during all the craziness. While the banner is mainly reserved for November, at the moment I’m pretty thankful that my parents and siblings fared well through Irma. My parents’ house was relatively unscathed, aside from some of their giant palm trees being uprooted and the pool being filled with debris. That’s definitely something to be thankful for!
Eventually, the big pumpkin on the right (fake BTW) will get a big ole “F,” for our last name!
I have one more Pinterest inspired project to share, but I haven’t gotten around to getting it painted, since we’ve had some rainy days lately!
Have you started decorating for fall yet?
