Valentine Ideas

As strange as it sounds, I’m pretty glad to see Monday. Adri was just a mess this weekend, so I was looking forward to shipping her off to school today!

For whatever reason, Veronica didn’t have school today, so she tagged along on my daily errands, and helped me get stuff done. We’re about to start completing the Valentine’s gifts for her class.

The little tic-tac-toe game was an idea that I saw in a craft group, that I decided to alter slightly. Made with coasters and vinyl, we’ll be packing these babies up with some candy in a clear cellophane bag to send to school tomorrow.

Also on the agenda today is buying John’s Valentine’s gift. I went to dinner over the weekend with some ladies from the neighborhood who helped with this idea. We’ve still never made it out to one of the sunset dinner cruises here, so my gift will be a date night on the water. I’m aiming for a Friday, since that’s when they do fireworks out in Waikiki.

Hopefully once all that is done, I’ll have time to make the girls shirts for school tomorrow. I have a whole lot of red glitter vinyl that will look perfect on little shirts for them!

On top of everything else, John and I just finished purchasing our tickets back to the mainland! Ah! It’s all coming so soon! Next on the PCS to-do list will be getting Caesar’s new kennel and flight purchased. It’s going to be nearly $1k! ):

Anyway, my kid is yelling at me to go get my craft on! I can’t say no to that!
