Christmas Planner Stickers
The first day of December is upon us! Ah! Christmas is less than 4 weeks away, and then after that, the year is basically over!
Heading into 2017, I’m strongly considering jumping back into Etsy, or some other online retail shop. I’ve considered selling decals, tees for the little ones, or possibly planner stickers.
I already have plenty of practice with making decals and heat transfer t-shirts, so the next step for me was to test out some new sticker papers. I’ve always used the plain old Avery labels to print my own planner stickers, however I recently learned that different papers yield different results. I always thought that the color crispness of a printed projected depended solely on the printer itself. Turns out, the paper that you’re using contributes to that as well. Who knew?!
Anyway, I went online and ordered a couple of samples of different sticker paper. Some waterproof ones, some glossy ones, some vinyl ones. The best part is that none of them say Avery on the back, so they look legit! Woo!
The first thing I did after receiving all of my new sticker paper samples was get this Christmas-y set of stickers made and printed!
Although the stickers printed beautifully on the samples that I tried, sadly I didn’t notice a huge difference versus the Avery brand which is more easily available at Walmart, Target, and just about any other store with an office section.
But worry not fellow planner addicts! I did a bit of further digging, and hopefully found the type of paper that my favorite Etsy purchases are printed on. We shall see! Until then, check below to print your very own Christmas planner stickers.
