I’m Loving…

Once again, life has gotten away from me. I’m hoping to have more than one post this week. Our friends PCS’d from the island yesterday/today, so I foresee a whole lot more free time. But no one to test out my recipes on… Whomp, whomp.

With our closest friends leaving, I’ve been pretty bummed, but there is still plenty that I’m loving..

The Army

I’m that one weirdo military spouse that absolutely loves my husband’s job! I love that we live in Hawaii. I love that we get to move every couple of years and explore parts of the country that we’ never go to otherwise. I love that we’re able to make lifelong friends.

Hibachi

Can you beat dinner and a show?! Sunday night, we went to Benihana for the #lastsupper with our friends. The girls have been before, but it’s been a while, so they were extremely entertained by the chef. I was hoping for some fire and an exploding volcano, but I suppose they’ve tamed the show down a little. Dinner was still delicious though! Adri went to town on my shrimp appetizer!

Planning

And I’m not just talking about my Life Planner and planner stickers. I actually went and bought a $0.16 spiral notebook yesterday, so that I can make lists and notes for future life happenings. Like Christmas cards. Because you know, August is the perfect time to start planning for Christmas!

Pokemon Go

Hate if you must, but the girls love playing along with me. And sometimes, my husband will humor me and drive where he knows there are PokeStops. #teamvalor

My Cricut

I write about this thing all the time, because I literally use it for everything! Veronica has a loose tooth, so I put together the most adorable little tooth fairy bag. I wanted to make one for our friends before they left, but you know, I ran out of time. Don’t worry, I’ll have one in the mail as soon as I have a mailing address!

Veronica’s Teach

Another year in a row, we are so so lucky to have an amazing woman teaching Veronica. She is SO involved, and provides so many resources to help her students learn and grow. This may very well be the best year yet!
