Summer Survival Kit

Alright, parents! Who is ready for summer break? It really came quick this year, after my first year as an elementary school parent!
Though it crept up, I made sure to be ready for all of our family’s summer time adventures, so that we can spend more time playing, and less time worrying about chores and running errands.
After a quick trip to the store, I emerged with all sorts of goodies for our summer survival. Chalk and bubbles made it to the top of the list, since the kids seem to always have the most fun with those. I also made sure to grab fun little water squirters to help cool everyone off after hours of running around outside.
A trip to Costco was also essential to stock up on snacks and cleaning supplies for my inside stockpile, so that we won’t have to worry about shopping interrupting our fun times. Gotta love those bulk-sized Procter & Gamble Household Needs products– specifically the Tide Pods and Cascade Complete Action Pacs! The little details in these brands really make a difference!
With the Tide Pods, I can toss one or two into the washer drum, while it’s filling up with water, then just dump in the clothes. They dissolve in any temperature of water and there’s no need to waste time with out detergent! There is no rinsing required when you use Cascade Complete Action Pacs, so after lunch time, the girls and I are able to get back to the fun more quickly!
At the end of the day, after playing in chalk, sand, and dirt, our bathtub can start to look a little rough. And this is where Mr. Clean Magic Erasers come in handy! The tub scrubbers are the first product that I’ve found that is capable of getting all of the dirt that my girls track in, out of the tub! I know my Hawaiian friends know how much of a pain that red dirt can be!
