Make Your Holiday Wish
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
The holidays are here! While I know everyone loves receiving, there is true joy to be had from giving.
Although times can be tough for some, and sometimes the budget just isn’t there for more gifts, thoughtful gestures can make a lasting impact.
For example, the wife from John’s unit that I mentioned in this post about gifting to the homeless this holiday season. She collects free donations from the community, then spends her time distributing those donations to homeless people and families across the island of Oahu. This holiday season, she’s made it her goal to bring a little bit of Santa to the less fortunate children on our island.
Watching the Mr. Brown’s Books video, about had me in tears (I’m a softie). It’s remarkable how much a difference one person can make with one simple act.
I’ve made my wish! Now it’s your turn! After all, it’s up to you!
Don’t forget to visit the #WishesDelivered Site to submit your own story about that special person or organization in your life that is making wishes come true!
UPS has pledged to donate $1 (up to $150K total) for each wish shared on Twitter or Instagram with the campaign hashtag #WishesDelivered. Donations from the UPS #WishesDelivered campaign will benefit charity partners (Boys & Girls Club of America, World Food Programme, Toys for Tots Literacy Program, The Salvation Army, The UN Refugee Agency). Time is ticking, so submit your stories or wishes before January 1, 2016!
