Eating Bugs

Oh what a weekend it was! Overall, not bad, although we did have to deal with Adri losing her cookies a time or two or five. She threw up in bed on Friday night and then didn’t have the greatest day Saturday. Luckily, when she woke up on Sunday, she was running around and laughing like normal. I mentioned to John that I figured she must have just had a bug or something, to which the response was: “Eww! I didn’t eat a bug!”

John is golfing today, so I got my day to go out and get a pedicure yesterday. Lucky for me, the place where I do my nails is right next to Target, so it’s like the ultimate momcation! While out, I picked up a Sophie the Giraffe for Juli. I’ve been hesitant to spend $25+ on a chew toy for my baby, but since she turned six months old yesterday, I had to. Can you already tell that she’s going to be the spoiled baby of the family?

With John gone today, I’ve been cleaning like a mad woman. He had to grab clean underwear from the laundry room this morning, which is usually my cue to fold and get some more loads washed. Please tell me that I’m not the only one who leaves the clean clothes piled into baskets in the laundry room.

I’d also like have the girls start making Valentines cards for children at St. Jude’s. Jo shared a project that her friend does, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get Veronica and Adriana involved in giving back to others. I am so grateful to have three perfectly healthy beautiful children. It breaks my heart that there are little ones out there with families who are not as fortunate. Check out Jo’s post for more information, if you’d like to help!
