#VerizonSalutes Our Military

I am thrilled to be partnering with Verizon again to share about their #VerizonSalutes commitment to our military! 

Nearly a year ago, I was on a plane headed for California, to attend the #VerizonSalutes summit with a handful of other military spouse bloggers and influencers. This once in a lifetime experience brought us out to a Verizon office, where we learned all about Verizon’s 5G services, along with their commitment to our military and veterans. Needless to say, I learned A LOT on that trip!

Not only does Verizon offer superior service along with exclusive savings for military (unlimited plans starting at $30/line for up to 4 lines), but they’re positioned as a Top 10 Military Friendly Company. Verizon offers benefits such as deployment line suspension, waived deposits, and VZ Up Rewards. On top of that, Verizon has created a year after year partnership with Wounded Warrior Project.

A portion of last year’s summit focused on employment opportunities for veterans and military spouses. Service members can visit the Military Careers portion of the Verizon website to to help determine how military skills might translate into civilian careers. I was amazed to learn how the company strives to take care of employees who may be activated for duty. 

This year more than ever, we’ve discovered the importance of having a reliable cellular network. We typically don’t get the chance to see our family more than once or twice as year, but with the way this year has gone, our family hasn’t had a chance to visit at all. We’ve managed to stay connected with plenty of FaceTime calls and the grandparents have been able to watch the girls grow virtually!

With the holidays and Adri’s birthday coming up, it’s important that we be able to stay connected with our families, so that they can experience these special moments with us long-distance. The girls even get to chat with the family on their own, with the Verizon Gizmo watches that Santa brought last year.
