Surving Spring Break

Spring Break is upon us. At least for Veronica. Her break starts tomorrow, and goes for nearly two whole weeks! Adri’s will be shorter, just the five days next week.

As of right now, my main goal is to survive. Me and my girls. All four of us. All day, every day. I plan to consume large amounts of soda and ice cream. #sorrynotsorry #bikiniready

With plenty of adventures already planned, it shouldn’t be too bad though!

First things first, I’d like to finally check out a farmer’s market by Adri’s school tomorrow. I’ve never been, since I’m usually in a hurry to scoop her up from school, then rush to get Veronica. I believe they sell fruit at this market, unlike the last market I visited, so I’m pretty excited about that!

We’ll be making a couple of trips to the beach, with one of those being an organized FRG event.

Our FRG is also hosting an Easter egg hunt, which I’m trying to brainstorm ideas for. I have a few, but a few more wouldn’t hurt.

Ideally, eating something more substantial than spaghetti and meatballs or cereal would be great. I’m not trying to be an over achiever or anything though. I did however sign up for emeals recently. I love that the meal plan includes a shopping list. What I don’t love, is that I can’t edit the meals for the week, and I’m basically stuck with what they give me. Unlike another website that I looked at for meal planning, emeals doesn’t allow me to check off options, like “no fish”.

Oh! And what would a break from school be without a little shave ice! Adri had a field trip to Matsumoto’s yesterday, and I can guarantee that we’ll be back for more before school starts back up! You can’t be a tropical flavored shave ice with ice cream in it!
