A Very Merry Christmas
Of all of our Christmas celebrations in Hawaii, this year’s had to be my favorite!
Both my brother and my parents were in town, which actually made it feel like a family holiday, versus just another Hawaiian day. We did our traditional Noche Buena dinner on Christmas Eve.
For Christmas Santa brought the girls a trampoline, which I’ve been dying to have for practically my entire life. The girls were pretty stoked too. I got kitchen appliances, which are ALWAYS a great option in my opinion!
That evening, we had a party with some of our closest Army framily. We did an ugly sweater contest and a white elephant gift exchange, which resulted in plenty of laughs. I was tricked into choosing the Edward 40 Hands white elephant gift. If we’re friends on Facebook, you may have seen photos of my hands taped to 40 ounces of beer.
Lots of food, lots of alcohol, and lots of great times. Except for our A/C going out.. Thankfully, it’s been a tad breezy and not too hot.
Overall, I’m just glad that I got to spend Christmas with so many people that I love.
