Running on E

Holy smokes! I am smoked! Who knew that having the kids out of the house for most of the day would actually make me more tired! Since school started it feels like I’m running nonstop from school to school or store to store with hardly any time to recharge. That 6:30 am alarm doesn’t help much either.

Mornings have been hectic with trying to get the girls fed and ready. Although V’s school is only two minutes from our house, we have to leave about half an hour prior to the bell to guarantee that we’ll get a parking spot. If it wasn’t for having to immediately drive Adri to preschool afterwards, walking would be the easier alternative.

Due to the earlier than usual wake up, I’ve also been going to bed much earlier than usual, which means little to no blogging. Let’s just all agree that I’m probably going to click on over to Bloglovin’ and click “mark all as read.” Sorry. Once I get the hang of this new schedule, I hope to be able to block off a day or at least a couple of hours throughout the week to dedicate to blogging.

Now, more than ever I look forward to sleeping in on the weekends and relaxing on the beach.
