The Super Bowl is coming, and you know what that means?! Food! Lots and lots of food! And when you’re doing the hosting, like I was last year, there isn’t always a ton of time to prep a huge spread for all of your hungry guests. Luckily, there are some pretty simple snack recipes out there for when you’re short on time.
Chips and salsa are always a hit, so why not elevate the game day favorite with a touch of tropical fruit. All it takes is two minutes and a couple of simple to find ingredients to blow your guests’ mind with this delicious and ridiculously easy mango salsa recipe! Even my husband, who likes to think he’s all fancy schmancy, was impressed by how tasty this simple recipe was.
I went to Walmart, where I picked up a can of Del Monte Diced Mango and a jar of Tostitos chunky salsa, along with scoop-style chips. You’re going to want the scoops to really be able to grab those sweet chunks of mango.
All it took was draining the mangos and combining them with the jar of salsa to create my new favorite salsa flavor. It’s sweet with a hint of spicy, and so good!
Not into chips? Add this mango salsa recipe to whatever it is that you are eating. I enjoyed some on top of a pulled pork sandwich. Del Monte has plenty of other great recipes and ideas on their Pinterest account. The possibilities are endless!
