Our 2014 Christmas Card
Procrastination got the best of me this year. My Christmas cards were addressed, stamped, and ready to go before Thanksgiving. I swore I was going to send them on the Monday following Thanksgiving, but that never happened. I don’t know why. I easily could have walked down the street and placed them in the outgoing mailbox, but for some reason that didn’t happen. And then I just kept putting it off.
Well, my mom finally received her card yesterday, so I guess it’s ok for me to share it with everyone else now.
Since I was worried about our family photos not being done in time, I went ahead and took my own. It took several attempts to get a shot decent enough to use, but I feel like this one really shows off the girls’ personalities. You can see the outtakes here. Warning: Adriana is a clown!
The foil pressed cards seemed to be popular this year, and Shutterfly had a ton to choose from. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. Not bad for something I did in my front yard.
Next year I hope to get an early start on Christmas cards and have them sent out earlier than this. I might even just pay to have them sent for me.
